Internal External Reverse scene
Scene using Internal and External reverses
Working with a team for the first time was interesting, every person brought different ideas to the table for our next mini project. A scene composed of 6 lines of dialogue. Every one took on different rolls within the group and we came up with a premise that stealing and being a criminal has big consequences, which we all thought was a strong start.
We started to write up dialogue and the different camera shots we would need to make this project look good. As we got our chance to start filming one of our members decided that he didn’t like the idea and came up with his own, and we were stuck making his film which we all thought didn’t turn out the way it should have. I think we all realised that our story could have been written much better, the editing side could have been better and the way we worked together could have been better.
My 3 cut Montage

After capturing and editing, viewing the final of my montage I have realised that coming up with three different shots can be a difficult process if not thought out an constructed properly.
As this was my first time using Final Cut Pro to edit a clip I found that my cuts were very slow and the camera work wasn’t of the best quality. But I’m sure that with more practice my end results will keep on improving
